CAMERON HIGHLANDS: If you like things a bit cooler, then the Cameron Highlands situated 5000ft above sea level are the place for you. It is a place of tea plantations and serene beauty. In our opinion the nicest place to stay is The Lakehouse. A charming Tudor style boutique resort that harks back to Colonial times. KUALA LUMPUR: As the nation's capital, KL is a busy place but its still possible to find pockets of calm. Carcosa Seri Negara is a beautiful Colonial Mansion in the capital's Lake Gardens. When Queen Elizabeth II visited Kuala Lumpur this is where she stayed! Its our favourite luxury hotel in KL. |
